Before submitting your application, ensure that you have completed the application essay questions and secured completed reference and commitment forms. You will be asked to upload these documents along with your resume on ICMA’s learning management system.

Successful candidates will be notified January 31, 2025. If accepted, you will be expected to take the ICMA Leadership Assessment and attend Leadership ICMA Orientation in Milwaukee WI and the ICMA Annual Conference in Tampa FL, which will include special Leadership ICMA activities.
